Tonsai beach
It was really lucky for me to get there. Just before I leave Malaysia, I met this guy called Alex who I hang out in Langkawi then I mention that I was going to Phuket, he said “no way, thats shit go to Tonsai beach”. Yep, thats how I travel. I have no idea where the fuck it is and whats like. He just told me how to get there and I left Langkawi. Without him, I would never been to there.
But,getting there was fucked up for me. First, I took a boat from Langkawi to somewhere in Thailand (I have no idea where but), Second, a bus. I guess that I have been ripped off. But I didn't know the currency rate and how far I am going to. Also, I couldn't communicate due to limited English speakers. It was low season. Bus took me to another bus stop, wait for a bus for an hour about and finally I was going to somewhere with familiar name. Krabi. When I arrived Krabi, I got to get off in the middle of somewhere in Krabi. Again ask for people for more directions. But it was 7pm about, found out there won't be any more buses. Took a cab to Ao Nang beach, I guess it was fare price. Got off on the beach and asked people for boat to go to Tonsai beach but I had to wait for 4 more hours for next boat due to low tied. But, it turned out fun. Lots of local people gathering around me bought me some beer and met three English chicks, drunk together and swam in the dark ocean. Then a boat came for me with unwelcomed storm. It was fun to hanged around the beach but I was drunk. Rough trip but just10minutes away. Had to get off on the beach with big backpack. I was trying not to wet my backpack but my thongs were washed off by the wave. It was really dark but sailer told me the way so I just followed it. Here comes the third world. The unpolished path with sharp rocks greeted me first. Storm get harder and starts to get wet. The silence and darkness of the path seems to me a tunnel to hell. But I just have to walk at least till I meet somebody in this isolated beach. Finally, I hear some music and laugh, Ahhhhhhggggg. When I passed the bar that music come from, all the people welcomed me with smile. Yep, it seemed nice place. But I needed a place to stay first because I was really drunk and tired already. Ask for the guest house called “Jungle Huts”. They said 5 more minutes away from there. Ok I can do that. But the rocks on the road is getting sharper and sloppy. Then a woman from a bottle shop came out and said to me “oh you are crazy, have these”. Gave me a pair of thongs. Ah, there is a god. And a man came out for me and showed me the way to Jungle hut and called for the owner but he was away. He said wait here and has gone. I was waiting about another 15 minutes about in the rain. Then he came back with an owner the Mr Chang. Totally storned and asked me “Room”? Yes of course that I felt. Well, I again thanked the woman from bottlo because it was a hell road up to my bungalow with dark and rocky slope. Made to get room, I guess that I just crashed in the bed because I don't remember the moment of laying on the bed.
Next day, I woke up with this sound about 7 in a morning. “Bang, bang bang”. I have no friends yet, who's banging on the door at this time I thought. I shout "aye", and opens the door. There were about 10 monkeys hanging around in my front porch. Wow, I was surprised and Gyaw, the monkeys were surprised even more. In a flash, they spread out to jungle. There is a tree with some fruits the monkeys was eating and chilled in front of my bungalow. Cool!!! I was welcomed by the monkeys in the first morning of Tonsai beach. Then I was hungry so I went to beach to find some food. There are maybe 5 restaurants in this beach with my knowledge but decent price with awsome food. I will mention about them later. Found some place where some people hanging around. Oh wait, on the way, just in the Jungle Hut, when I was going down to main path, some hard core stoners welcomed me from their bungalows. Du wonsom? Ha ha. And, every people passed me by on the way to the beach said hello to me. Well, then near the beach, when I was looking at the menu on the street some people start to greet to me ask me to join them for breaky. Some asked me, am I a climber? Yep, everyone in this beach are great and happy. I found with the conversation in the morning that this place is famous between rock climbers. AWSOME. It was just perfect place. It didn't took any moment for me to start rock climbing. I guess meeting these people is one of my life changing moment. That was the begging of the Tonsai life style.
Climbing is such a great sports. Mostly, big drinkers quite few are smokers,just chilling out around the rocks often with beautiful view, looking after each other, laying back, being lazy, adrenaline caused form fear of the hight, pains from muscle, trembles of accomplishment, hustling with rock which they can not climb and just having fun basically. I love the trust between harnesses and climbers. Bolts, ropes, all equipment. And effects of confidence and support of others. People are cheering each other that helps a lot, sometimes more like a pushing too hard to the climbers but so fun.One time or even more than I can imagine when I was stuck in the middle of rock, my friends were yelling me that they will not let me down till I make it to the top. I pushed to my limit.

I met Angie the German girl that I traveled with in Malaysia and I joined her group. Beautiful people. Yama and Rope from Finland taught me how to climb, awsome characters always gives us energy. Brian from Canada, mature and great fun and he is also taught me a lot. Pat from Swiss, unique and cool, his yell and shouts made some of us far up on rocks. Ramona, beautiful Dutch girl is always positive and trying hard, cheered me up. Efun, the little girl from Taiwan great female climber. G, the spanish, learnt climbing together. This is my basic group that climbed together. Fantastico~!!!

Everyday,I felt some achievement like climbing, juggling and slack lines. Sometimes just chill, some times just climb until my muscle starts to scream. Some times we went to somewhere just explore around the beach. Those were my days.
Angie had a birthday while we stayed in Tonsai. We made a party for her. Lots of Tequila shots and fire dancing. Rob called up everyone to go to beach for some reason. I didn't understand but we were drunk so we just follow the flow of people. It was completely dark. Couldn't see anything so we all just got naked and starts to swim. There were unexpected guest welcomed us in the water. The miracle of nature glowing in the dark like my whole body was flying the green light, the phosphorescence was surround us. We got so high about it. It was just beautiful and most of us has not experienced that kind of nature shit. Wow, I was just amazed. And in a moment like this, there was a kiwi girl swimming around me. Fuckin aye romantic moment:)
One of those days, I had different activity from others. I met this German girl talked about kayaking up to an island in front. Yep, of course we kayaked down there. Although it was harder than I expected. Took us about two hours of kayaking to get to the island. Under the strong summer sun and strong current to wash us back, we fought to the wave with cheering each other and arrived the island. Nice place. We found a nice little beach behind the island like a private location with small cave with window through for looking down the cute beach. Oh, I was in love. Unfortunately nothing has happened but she was really sweet.
One of a night, when we were having a dinner the storm has came. First the wind and lighting. I went to the beach holding my camera keep pushing down the shutter to capture the lighting. Got myself a good picture of it. Went back to the restaurant and the rain came. It was really heavy storm and the water started to leak from the roof of the restaurant. Suddenly, the leak turned into a waterfall came down to the table like shower. I was laughing myself in the water with my dinner. “Yeah, shower and dinner in a same time”. Then I took my camera starts take photos of my friends then a flash. The lighting hit down near the beach and the energy of bolts came through the ocean to the water of the leaking restaurant and Zzzzz Zzzzz, my friend Pat got electrocuted. He screamed “Agh”. We all surprised first and started to laugh. He was fine but felt pain. He actually made the electrocuted sound like a movie. How can I not to laugh. It was legend.
The secret lagoon.
Me and Efan, Pat and Angie went to the lagoon near Railay beach together. Getting there was quite an adventure. Up hill with very sharp rock,wet jungle and sloppy cliff have to go down like rock climbing without rope. We passed by the view point where we can look down the whole Railay beach. Nice view but after, there is the deadly cliff,we helped each other to get down there and the Secret Lagoon surrounded by the beautiful cliff where no one but nature can climb. The magnificence of nature appearance is just indescribable. Because of those rounded wall, our voices were echoed like a gigantic orchestra theatre. There is only us. We swam in the lagoon, sang song and yelled like wild animals. A great adventure.
Time is passing equally but never feel the same. An hour seems so long but a day, week, month, year as longer it gets I feel its faster. ThisTonsai life has also got me to an end. After 15days, our group headed to Phi Phi island for bigger party for once or more like further journey. I had to move on due to keeping on my around the world. We had awsome group to head to Phi Phi anyway so we all excited about traveling together.
PhiPhi Island
Basically,there are two main beaches around the town for party and very nice and quiet beaches away from the main town. Every night there is some party is going on. Fire show, fire jumping, fire limbo dance and pole climbing so on in the one of the bar for early entertainment. Next to it, there is a bar with dance floor. Just jumping around and socializing with others or hooking up. And the last, there is nice bar to chill out. Everyone sitting on the sand listening to slow sound with fucked up head. Because of this random party people, there were so many condoms on the beach in the morning. Aw... We were also those idiots but none got luck in this island. Shame or Fame.Whatever it was, great party time.
In the day time, me and Efan went up to the Pee Pee island view point. On the way, there was strong wind came down on the hill and coconuts were flying and smashing down around us. When we went up to the viewpoint, the wind has stopped and a beautiful sunset has welcomed us.We sat down some of the rocks around and just hanging out with people about. The town is bit too touristy but beautiful . Little ally with nice local market. It was nice to just walk around the town as well.
AoNang
I said good bye to all on the boat to Krabi. They went back to Tonsai and I headed to Ao Nang near Krabi. It was a pretty place but bar area was dirty. I stayed there just to find a hot spring near Krabi town. Didn't meet anybody to go with me so I took myself a bike ride for hot spring. Hours of comfortable ride with asking people where, stopping by some restaurant, dumplings and market I have made to the hot spring. Crystal clear hot water with comfortable bath, ahh. My body was dying with toxication and exhaustion of my muscle from living in the paradise. I felt heaven when I jumped in. I have soaked in the hot spring for an hour about. But... That was my mistake. My eyes got swollen like apple. I guess because of some of the natural chemical in the water. So the hardest part was on the way back. It was getting dark and crowded high way, I didn't even remember the way back clearly. The wind into my eyes was painful. Aghhhh. Driving around the Krabi town but I could not find the right way... Then I went to a convenient store then I met two English guys. They were also staying around Ao Nang. They showed me the way. I made it to my hostel. Nice day.
KohPhangan
Yep,Of course I have been. One of the biggest beach party in the world. Even on the way to get there was packed with young backpackers. Its the alternate destination for all those people who seeking some big party. It starts from on the bus, boat and even waiting point. Meeting people, talking about traveling and drinking. Yeah, all those idiots are always ready to party. Thats Koh Phangan.
The day I arrived. I have no idea that I do manage to make things so hard all the time. But, we arrived on the island with this storm. I met Kain from Canada on the boat, me and him have no booking or plans in the island but we wanted to stay away from the main beach. So while all people were heading to main beach with tuktuks, we were heading to the other side of the island in the storm. That was a quite long and dark way with heavy rains and winds. We were talking about why didn't we chase the girls we've met on the boat. Then suddenly, with the sound of speed and impact of lighting, there is this explosion just above us on the electric wires. Fuckin hell. We got so excited. It was fuckin close!!! As we arrived in the guest house, it was just dark but nothing. We asked is this it? Yep, the lighting shuts all the electricity of the guest house. The stuff came to us and asked for wait. We are still taking about lighting. They showed us our bungalow and there was no choice but take. We decided to leave tomorrow because of the distance from the main beach. It was just too isolated. Then the lights came back. Really fast recovery I thought. We were hungry so we ordered dinner while talking about where we go tomorrow. There were three dogs, some stuffs and two other travelers in the guest house. We had dinner and nothing much happen then a boar welcomed us. He just came from nowhere. Hugha Mmmhga~ with the lovely sounds of animal, he came after the smell of our food. He went to into kitchen and took the rubbish out and ate left food. The stuff came out and pushed his butt. Then he made more funny sound of animal. We just laugh til our stomach get hurts. It just sounded like uncomfortable for him. Mmmmmgghahghag, #$&(++}|¥¥(()&%$$*** Then he came out to lounge, one of the dog got curious about the boar. Dog came after him started to sniff the boar's butt. Ah~ they made my day.
Next day, we went to other side of the island. That place was really nice in the morning actually with bungalow by the coast and beautiful beach near by. But... We arrived this place called Harmony beach. It was alright.
Night one,
We have met two other English chicks decided to go to pool party together. Got fuckin drunk. We saw one guy passed out in the water. It was quite serious, he almost die or died?? Who knows, in here the party will never stop. Everyone is hooking up in the pools. Puking everywhere. More drinking. Ha ha, it was a messy party. We were dancing and taking more drinks end up jumping into the dirty swimming pool. Fun day. Then we all walked back to our guest house. If you know Koh Phangan, you have the idea but our guest house wasn't in the main beach. We walked up and down the hill, no, the fuckin hell. We got so tired but some friendly locals gave us a free lift. Got into bed with sunrise in my face.
Night two.
Of course I did something in the day time as well like lunch but... Anyway, . So we went out together to town this time. There was a Mexican party and we wanted to visit the beach. This day was also got fuckin drunk. Ah, I have no idea but left feeling of good night.
Night three.
Here, my Tonsai family has came up to Kho Phangan for some party. My mood in the island was just high up and up towards to the main events. We all went to the beach. Most us had some special shakes. Drinking in the beach, walking around, talking about stuff like existence. The flying lantern, going through the fag of babbles,the brightness of fire show and the scream and wave from mini bars.Aw~ who can understand me... Woke up in someone's bed with Italianchick. What a night.
Nightfour. The FULL MOON PARTY
Yes,the biggest events has came with big headache and dehydration. I wasn't willing to, but took a bottle of M-150 the Thailand energy drink. Another night has started. We did pretty much same thing as last night but this time is limitless. More and more, harder and harder as far as we can go, because this is the full moon party. I don't know when its started or who started but just like this party we were also soaked into this world class mess. Sound of color, illumination of bass sound and taste of humanity, my basic sense was mixed up like a music saturation to be adjusted by the Dj's. If you know what I mean. One time, I was in this place with drum and bass tune. Wow, I just wow. Jumping around till my legs fall and fell off, jump back without rest. The basic energy of human desire is shown in here purely. Express yourself as you wish, grab your girl, drink some more and dance in the crowd. Night was just beginning.
Fresh air, dance, lost, walk, smoke, buckets, jump, swim and flirt.
I have ended up just myself in front of this big speaker dancing like an monkey. Almost dawn, and then I jumping around with more and more people. Now its a big group. My friends came back joined up. Dance dance dance. With a Israeli love, I was dancing through the dawn. We saw the sunrise, flirting on the beach and look over the crowd dancing. Went back into the crowd, talked friends and more dancing. Sun was strong and hot then some people started to through iced water refreshed us and more dancing. I have never jumped in my life like that much. Then we took off to bed for more dancing in private.
Couple hours later, Kain came back with fucked up head. Eyes opened, talking shit and shaking body, he said it was great night. I was afraid a bit, but he just gone too much. He got fine by next morning.
Night five
I was really fucked up but there is a promise to meet up with the Israeli love. We meet up in the beach again and had nice fruits shake together. We both had a share mate so we walked around and found this private beach and sneaked into there and made some love.
